Introduction:

Balinghai is spread out on a hillside above a secluded beach, surrounded by cliffs, located at the northern part of Boracay Island, two coves away from the main "White Beach" . For a true feeling of escapism and romanticism Balinghai is the place to stay. Off the beaten track and wonderfully natural and native Balinghai's uniqueness has created a following amongst travellers in the know. The hillside garden and walkways create a sense of adventure and natures splendour is creatively used to enhance the feeling of privacy. All rooms are open to the gentle breezes, sounds of the surf and fantastic view.

Their bungalows are privately located as to feel that you stay in your own private house. They want you to sense that you are in the tropics and not just any where in the world. In day time you will see the beautiful tropical waters, the corals and your house surrounded by green and blue wilderness, and at night you can hear the sounds of the waves, the cicadas and the wind blowing in the trees.

Rooms:

Each bungalow is privately located just 30 steps from the beach, the rooms and verandahs are very spacious and have big bathrooms. Electrical fans and refrigerators are part of the basic room amenities. One of the bungalows has two bedrooms and contains a small pantry. As of today Balinghai Beach Resort has four finished houses but is slowly expanding.

If you stay at Balinghai you will lie in your bed at night, see the starry skies and listen to the sounds of the tropical night and experience the magic of being close to nature.

-Rock House
Spacious house placed on top of a rock 10 meters away from the beach, with an enormous view over the sea. Bedroom has double bed for 2 persons with possibility of extra bed for a child.
-Tree House
Outside our terraced garden, 25 meters on top of the beach, lies this two-bedroom house. The veranda has a kitchen and, as the name says, a tree. One bedroom contains a double bed and the other has place for two grown ups or four small children.
-Bat House
This cottage spreads its wings like a bat and lies on the hill resting 12 meters over a small beach. Lying on the bed, your feet seem to touch the ocean. Bedroom contains a double bed for two persons, with possibility of 1 extra bed.
-Garden House
Outside our terraced garden, 25 meters on top of the beach, lies this two-bedroom house. The veranda has, as the name says, a garden with a Jacuzzi and hot water. One bedroom contains a double bed and the other has place for two grown ups or four small children.
-Hill House
On the hill next to our main beach, slightly hidden behind the trees, lies this little house. It has a cozy veranda and an airy bedroom. Bedroom contains a double bed for 2 persons only.
-Hunt House
This is a small nipa hut, with the basics, as all houses used to be in Boracay. Bathroom is simple.

Restaurant:

Balinghai Beach, enclosed by craggy walls of rock, is a good spot for snorkeling and exploring the nature of the pristine cove. A special attraction is the food basket lowered from the restaurant high above the cliff: Write your order in the slip provided in the basket, ring the belland wait until your food is lowered in the basket.
